On the Heels of the Mormon Church endorsing a gay rights issue in Salt Lake City, more controversy has raised its ugly head. I quote from KSL.com:
"SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Rep. Christine Johnson will serve an additional role when the Utah Legislature convenes this month. The lesbian lawmaker announced she's a surrogate mother, carrying a baby for two gay men. (source)
Johnson, who is openly gay, is "doing a favor" for the two gay men. Twenty years ago, Conservative Mormons would be doing her a favor by forcing a very confused woman out of the legislature. The outrage would have been close to riotous.
"Johnson, D-Salt Lake City, said she decided to become artificially impregnated with sperm from one of the men after the two close friends expressed frustration over the difficulty of adopting a child.
Utah law prohibits unmarried couples from adopting and does not recognize gay marriage." (ibid)
What a nice lady! I have a kid that wants to go to Medical School, maybe she can go there for him. But, don't expect an uproar from the Utah Mormon politicos or the Newspaper Editors. So-called Mormon, Joseph A Cannon, Editor of the Deseret News, signed a pledge with his former employer (A San Francisco Lobbying firm) to give his full support to the Gay Rights Movement.
He resigned from the firm after I exposed him on it.
Oh, and don't expect any so-called Mormon Politicians to make a big deal out of this. Harry Reed is busy trying to figure out what percentage of Obama is black, and Orrin Hatch is pretty busy writing anthems to years gone by. Mitt Romney, is probably hiding out somewhere in Michigan, afraid that someone will bring up his promises to homosexuals when they helped make him governor of Mass.
Log Cabin Republicans (homosexual organization for Republicans), know they can count on their brethren in the party to not get in the way of the corruption of our youth and morals. Between Pedophile, and Male Prostitution rings, and other allegations of homosexual relations in Washington DC, we're really not all that sure who isn't "behind" the agenda.
One thing that we can still bet on, is that other Mormon Politicos will take a firm stand on this issue.
"Sen. Howard Stephenson, R-Draper, said he thinks having both a mother and father in the home "is the optimum, and what every baby deserves."
But he added: "I do respect any woman who will carry and bear a child for a childless couple ... It's my responsibility to show respect and love for one of God's daughters."
House Speaker David Clark, R-Santa Clara, also a Mormon, agrees.
"At the end of the day, it's the gift of life" that is important, he said."
Sadly, I don't respect any woman that allows herself to be used in this manner to further disrupt the good old fashioned American Family. As far as the gift of life, growing up the daughter of a surrogate Lesbian mother, a sperm donor father and being raised by two homosexual men, doesn't seem like much of a gift.
I don't think that the other kids on the playground will be quite as charitable, I am sure that the words have not even been invented yet to describe this type of "gift".
Once again, homosexuals could care less. The poor child is just another tool they will use to further drive their corrupted stake into the heart of America. He/She was not begat in "love", unless Johnson has a crush on the eyedropper they used to get her pregnant. But, not to worry, with the instability of most homosexual relationships, if the girl/boy is lucky, she/he won't have to know any of the people that got her into this mess.
Maybe then she can enjoy an adoptive "loving" heterosexual family that sees her for more than their own evil and selfish political purposes.
